Uncle was born and raised in Vietnam, where nuoc cham was simply part of the table—a sauce made at home, shared with family, and served with just about everything.
Later in life, he moved abroad with his family, bringing the flavors and traditions he grew up with along with him. His nuoc cham became one of them: a family recipe made by taste, passed around the table, and shared with the people we love.
